  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp 
  • Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp

Materials

  • Methi – 150 grams
  • Spinach – 150 grams 
  • Cooking Oil – 3 tbsp

  • Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp 
  • Green chilli – 2 pcs

  • Asafoetida – 1 pinch 
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp 
  • Sugar – 1 tsp 
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp 
  • Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp 
  • Salt as per taste

  • Kashmiri red chilli – 1 tsp 
  • Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp 
  • Paneer – 200 grams
  • Cream – 2 tbsp 
  • Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp

Instructions

  •  To make Perfect Methi Chaman at your Home, first take one bowl of Methi, 1 Bowl of Spinach.
  • Now, place a pan on flame and add water to it.
  • Now add Methi and Spinach into boiling water and cook well for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, turn off the flame and remove the excess water and let them cool.
  • Now, take a grinding jar and add Boiled Methi and Spinach into it, grind well and make a fine paste.
  • Now place a pan on flame and add 3 tbsp of oil, 2 tbsp of butter, and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, one cinnamon stick, one big cardamom, two green cardamoms, five pcs of peppercorns, two pcs of cloves, two pcs of bay leave, mix well and saute a little.
  • Now add two finely chopped green chilli, one pcs of chopped onion, and roast well.
  • After the onion turns golden, add one pinch asafoetida, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, mix well, and roast.
  • After 1 minute, add prepared Methi-Spinach Paste, mix well, and roast and cook for 2 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes, add 1 tsp of sugar and mix well.
  • Now add 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, salt as per taste, and mix everything well.
  • Now, close the lid and cook for 10 minutes on a low flame.
  • After 10 minutes, remove the lid and add 3/4 cup of water and mix well.
  • Now add 200 grams of paneer cubes and mix well.
  • Now again, close the lid and cook for 6-7 minutes.
  • Now remove the lid and add 2 tbsp of cream and mix well on low flame.
  • Now garnish it with chopped coriander and turn off the flame.
  • Now your Restaurant style Methi Chaman is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
