Palak Vadi Recipe | How to make Palak Vadi at Home | Palak Ka Nasta Recipe
Materials
- Chopped Green Chili – 2
- Garlic – 8 to 10 piece
- Ginger – 1inch
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Seed – 1 tbsp
- Spinach – 1 Bunch
- Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Carom Seed – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Gram flour – 1 cup
- Rice flour – 1/2 cup
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 1 tsp
Instructions
- To make the amazing Palak Vadi, take a grinding jar, add two green chilli, 8-10 garlic cloves, 1 inch of ginger, and 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Next step – add 1 tbsp of coriander seeds, grind on the pulse and make a coarse paste.
- Next step – take one bunch of Spinach, wash and chop it.
- Next step – add the prepared paste into chopped palak.
- Next step – add 1 tbsp of sesame seeds, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of carom seeds, and 1/4 tsp of asafoetida and mix well.
- Next step – add gram flour as required(1 cup), 1/2 cup of rice flour, and salt as per taste, and mix well.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of oil and mix well.
- Next step – take a steamer plate and grease it with oil.
- Next step – prepare two cylindrical logs with Palak Mix and place them on the greased plate.
- Next step – place a Kadhai on flame, add water, close the lid and boil for 5-7 minutes.
- After the water boils, place greased plate on the Kadhai.
- Next step – close the lid and cook on a medium flame for 10-12 minutes.
- After 12 minutes, turn off the flame and check your stemmed log with the help of a toothpick.
- Next step – transfer the steamed log to a platform and let them cool.
- Next step – cut both logs into small pieces like the following image (If you want, you can store your Palak Vadi in an airtight box for 2-3 weeks).
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add oil for shallow fry, and heat well.
- Next step – place prepared Palak Vadi into the pan and fry well until golden & crispy.
- After Palak Vadi turns golden & crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your Perfect Palak Vadi is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
