Ingredients List No-Onion No-Garlic Gravy Recipe

  • Tomatoes – 6-7 whole
  • Cashew nuts – 100 gms
  • Melon seeds – 100 gms
  • Poppy seeds/khuskhus – 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli – 2 whole
  • Ginger – 1 inch
  • Normal water – 1/2 cup
  • Oil – 4 tbsp
  • Bay leaf – 2 whole
  • Black cardamom – 1 whole
  • Green cardamom – 2 whole
  • Cloves – 4 pcs
  • Cinnamon stick – 2 pcs
  • Pepper seeds – 10-12 pcs
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Jeera powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp/as per taste
  • Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala (optional)

Materials

  • 6-7 Tomatoes 
  • 100 gms Cashew nuts 
  • 100 gms Melon seeds 
  • 1 tsp Poppy seeds/khuskhus
  • 2 whole Green chiilli
  • 1 pinch Ginger 
  • 1/2 cup Normal water
  • 4 tbsp Oil 
  • 2 whole Bay leaf 
  • 1 whole Black cardamom
  • 2 whole Green cardamom
  • 4 pcs Cloves 
  • 2 pcs Cinnamon stick
  • 10.-12 Pepper corns
  • 1 tsp Jeera 
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder 
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi 
  • 1 tsp Salt 
  • Garam masala 

Instructions

  • To make amazing and perfect No onion No Garlic Gravy, first take a pan and add 6-8 roughly chopped tomato.
  • Now add 100 grams of cashew Nuts, 100 grams of melon seeds, 1 tbsp of khuskhus/poppy seeds, 2 chopped green chilli, 1-inch ginger, 1/2 cup of normal water.
  • Now place the pan on flame, close the lid and boil for 5-6 minutes until tomatoes turn mushy.
  • After 5 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the No onion No Garlic Gravy mix to a grinding jar and make a smooth paste.
  • Now, place a pan on flame, add 4 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
  • Now add 2 bay leaves, 1 black cardamom, 2 green cardamoms, 4 cloves, 2 pcs of cinnamon stick, 15 pcs of peppercorn, and roast on medium flame.
  • Now add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tbsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder, and roast everything well on low flame.
  • Now add salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida(optional), and mix well.
  • Now add prepared No onion No Garlic Gravy mixture and mix everything well.
  • Now, close the lid and cook the gravy until it releases the oil on a low, medium flame.
  • After 5-6 minutes, check the gravy, add 1 tsp of Kasuri methi, and mix well.
  • Now turn off the flame, and your No onion No Garlic Gravy is completely ready, and you can use this No onion No Garlic Gravy to make Matar paneer, butter paneer, shahi paneer, and many more and enjoy it.
