Ingredients of Nimbu Ka Achar Recipe

  • Nimbu – 1 Kg 
  • Salt – 2 tsp 
  • Fennel seeds – 2 tbsp 
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp 
  • Peppercorn – 1 tsp 
  • Carom seeds – 1 tbsp 
  • Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 tsp 
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 tbsp 
  • Black salt – 1 tbsp 
  • Garam Masala – 1 tsp 
  • Salt – 1 tsp 
  • Nigella seeds – 1/2 tsp 
  • Sugar – 800 grams 
  • Water – 1/2 cup

Materials

  • Nimbu – 1 Kg 
  • Salt – 2 tsp 
  • Fennel seeds – 2 tbsp 
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp 
  • Peppercorn – 1 tsp 
  • Carom seeds – 1 tbsp 
  • Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 tsp 
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 tbsp 
  • Black salt – 1 tbsp 
  • Garam Masala – 1 tsp 
  • Salt – 1 tsp 
  • Nigella seeds – 1/2 tsp 
  • Sugar – 800 grams 
  • Water – 1/2 cup 

Instructions

  • To make the Instant Nimbu Ka Achar, take 1 KG Yellow Nimbu, and wash them well 2-3 times.
  • Next step – take a big bowl, add hot water & 2 tsp of and mix well.
  • Next step – add all lemons into the water, and clean them well(wipe the water after cleaning).
  • Next step – place a kadhai on flame, add water, close the lid and boil well.
  • After the water boils, place a steamer plate on the kadhai and put all lemons on the strainer.
  • Next step – close the lid and steam the lemon for 20 minutes on medium flame.
  • Next step – place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of fennel seeds, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 tbsp of carom seeds, 1 tsp of peppercorn, 1/2 tsp of fenugreek seeds, and roast everything on low flame.
  • After1-2 minutes, turn off the flame and let the all masala cool.
  • After the masala becomes cool, add everything into a grinding jar and make a coarse powder.
  • Next step – into prepared powder, add 2 tbsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tbsp of black salt, 1 tsp of garam masala, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of asafoetida, 1/2 tsp of nigella seeds, and mix well.
  • After 20 minutes, check the Nimbu and turn off the flame.
  • After the Nimbu turns cool, cut all Nimbu into small pieces.
  • Next step – place a kadhai on flame, add 800 grams of sugar, 1/2 cup of water, and melt the sugar.
  • After the sugar melts, add prepared Achar Masala and mix well on low flame.
  • After a boil, add stemmed Nimbu, mix well and boil for 2-3 minutes.
  • After 2-3 minutes, turn off the flame and let it cool.
  • Next step – take a glass jar, wash and clean it with the help of a cloth.
  • Next step – take charcoal and burn it on a low flame.
  • Next step – place burned charcoal on a plate and sprinkle asafoetida on the charcoal.
  • Next step – place the glass jar above the smoke Charcoal for 1 minute.
  • After 1 minute, store your Nimbu Ka Achar in the glass Jar.
  • Now your Perfect Nimbu Ka Achar is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
