- Desiccated Coconut – 3 Cup / 250gm
- Sugar – 2 Cup
- Milk mixed with Kesar Strands-1/2 Cup
- Cashew Powder- 1/2 Cup
- Lemon Yellow food colour(Optional)
- Malai- 3 tbsp
Instructions
- To make this amazing Nariyal Malai Barfi, place a pan on flame, add 3 cups of desiccated coconut, and roast on a low medium flame for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, add 2 cups of sugar and mix well and stir continuously.
- After mixing the sugar, add 1/2 cup of milk mixed with saffron strands and mix well.
- After mixing well, add 1/2 cup of cashew powder and mix well and stir continuously.
- Now add lemon yellow food color and mix well.
- After 1 minute, add 3 tbsp of milk Malai and mix well.
- Now, take a tray and grease it with ghee.
- After the Barfi mix starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame.
- Now, transfer the mix to the greased tray and spread well.
- Now, let it set for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, check the Barfi and garnish it with silver leaf.
