Namkeen Rice Cake Recipe | Rice Breakfast Recipe | Chawal Ka Nasta Recipe
Materials
- Rice – 1 Cup
- Curd – 1 Cup
- Semolina – 1/2 cup
- Chopped Coriander
- Eno Fruit Salt (Sachet)- 1
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Mustard Seed – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seed/Jeera – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Green Chili
- Grated Ginger
- Salt as per Taste
Instructions
- To make the amazing Namkeen Rice Cake, take 1 cup of rice, and wash & clean it.
- Next step – soak the rice for 1 hour in water.
- After 1 hour, remove the water from the rice.
- Next step – add soaked rice & 1 cup of curd into a grinding jar, grind well and make a fine paste.
- Next step – transfer the prepared paste into a bowl.
- Next step – little by little, add 1/2 cup of semolina, and whisk well.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 1 tsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 3-4 chopped green chilli, 1 tsp of grated ginger, and roast a little.
- Next step – turn off the flame, add prepared tempering into the paste and mix well.
- Next step – add salt as per taste, chopped coriander, and mix well.
- Next step – add 1 Eno fruit salt & some drops of water and mix well in one direction.
- Next step – transfer the prepared batter to a greased plate.
- Next step – place a Kadhai on flame, add water and boil it for 5 minutes.
- After the water starts boiling, place a Bowl into Kadhai and place a stand on the bowl.
- Next step – place the batter plate on the stand, close the lid and steam it for 14-15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, check your Namkeen Rice cake by inserting a toothpick; If the toothpick came out clean, this means the cake is cooked perfectly.
- Next step – cut the Namkeen Rice cake into pieces.
- Now your Namkeen Rice cake is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
Garlic Chutney
- To make the amazing Garlic chutney, take a grinding jar, add 1/4 cup of garlic, and 2 tbsp of red chilli powder.
- Next step – add 2 tbsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of sugar.
- Next step – grind everything well and make a fine paste.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add prepared chutney paste and roast on low flame.
- Next step – take 2 tbsp of whisked curd, add 2 tbsp of water and mix well.
- Next step – add prepared curd into pan and roast well for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, turn off the flame, and it is ready to serve.
