Moongfali ki Chikki Recipe | Moongphali Gud ki Chikki | Peanut chikki Recipe
Materials
- Peanut / Groundnut – 1 cup
- Jaggery – 1 cup
- Water – 1 tbsp
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Baking Soda – 2 pinch
Instructions
- o make the perfect Mungfali Ki Chikki, 1 Bowl of Raw Peanuts, & 1 Bowl of Grated Jaggery.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add peanuts, and dry roast on medium flame.
- After the peanuts turn hot, turn the flame to low and roast for 3-4 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame, transfer the peanuts to a cloth and let it cool.
- After some time, scrub the peanuts, and peel off the skin of peanuts.
- Next step – filter the skin using a filter.
- Next step – crush all peanuts and turn them into two parts.
- Next step – place a Kadhai on flame, add crushed jaggery, 1 tbsp of water, and melt the jaggery.
- After the jaggery melts, add 1 tsp of ghee and cook until a boil.
- After 2 minutes, drop a small portion of jaggery into the water and wait for a little.
- After some time, check the jaggery; If the jaggery turns hard this means the jaggery cooked perfectly, otherwise cook a little more.
- After your jaggery cooked perfectly, add two pinches of baking soda and mix well.
- Next step – add crushed peanuts and mix well.
- Next step – turn off the flame and transfer the Chikki Mix to a greased platform.
- Next step – small plate, fill the prepared Chikki mix and spread well like the following image.
- Next step – one by one, prepare all Chikki with the remaining Chikki mixture.
- After the Chikki turns little cool, demould all chikki and let them dry.
