Materials
- Coriander Seed – 2 tbsp
- Aniseed – 1 tsp
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Dry Mint Leaves powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1 tsp
- Citric Acid(नींबू का सत) – 1/4 tsp
- Boiled Potatoes – 4
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Mustard – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Green Chili – 2
- Chopped Ginger – 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Prepared masala – 2 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Powder Sugar – 1/4 tsp
- Chopped Coriander
- Gram flour – 1.5 cup
- Turmeric powder- 2 pinch
- Carom Seed – 1/2 tsp
- Hot Oil – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- To make the amazing Mirchi Vada, place a pan on medium flame, add 2 tbsp of coriander seeds, one tsp of Aniseed, and roast everything until aromatic.
- After all ingredients turn aromatic, turn off the flame and let them cool.
- Next step – take a crushed, add all roasted ingredients, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of mint powder, 1 tsp of garam masala, 1/4 tsp of citric acid(Taatri), and crush everything well.
- Next step – take four boiled potatoes and roughly mash them.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds, two chopped green chilli, 1 tsp of chopped ginger, and roast a little.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 2 tbsp of prepared masala, and roast everything.
- After 30-40 seconds, add crushed potato, salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of black salt, and 1/4 tsp of sugar, mix well and roast for 3-4 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame, add chopped coriander and mix well.
- Next step – take a bowl, add 1.5 cups of gram flour, salt as per taste, two pinches of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, and 1/2 tsp of crushed carom seeds, and mix everything well.
- Next step – little by little, add water, mix well and prepare a medium thick batter.
- Next step – cover the batter and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Next step – take large green chillies and make a cut on them.
- Next step – remove the seeds from the chillies.
- Next step – fill the prepared stuffing tightly into the chillies.
- Next step – add 2 tbsp of hot oil into prepared gram flour batter, and whisk well in one direction until the batter turns to light.
- Next step – one by one, dip prepared Mirchi Vada into the gram flour batter and left them in hot oil.
- Now fry your Mirchi Vada on medium flame until your Mirchi Vada turns golden.
- After the Mirchi Vada turns golden, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your perfect Mirchi Vada is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
