Mewa Paag Recipe | How to make Mewa Paag at Home | Dry Fruits Paag Recipe
Materials
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 2 tbsp Edible gum/Gond
- 4 tbsp Almond
- 4 tbsp Cashewnut
- 1 cup Lotus seeds
- 1/2 cup Melon seeds
- 1 cup Dry grated coconut
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- Crushed pista – for garnishing
Instructions
- To make Mewa Paag, first place a pan on flame and add 1/2 cup of Ghee to it and melt well.
- After Ghee, melts add 2 tbsp of Edible Gum and roast on low flame.
- Now transfer it on a plate.
- Now add 4 tbsp of almonds and fry on low flame.
- Now transfer almonds to a plate.
- Now add 4 tbsp of cashew nuts and roast on low flame until golden.
- Now transfer cashew nuts to the plate.
- Now add 1 cup of lotus seeds and roast on low flame, and after roasting, it transfers it into a plate.
- Now add 1/2 cup of melon seeds and roast on medium flame.
- After some time, add 1 cup of dry grated coconut, 1 tbsp for raisins and mix well and roast.
- Now transfer everything to a plate.
- Now place the pan on flame again and add 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water to it.
- Now boil until sugar melts completely.
- Now take a crusher, and one by one, crush the lotus seeds, almonds, Edible Gum, cashew nuts.
- Now check the sugar syrup, and after sugar syrup consistency turns to one string, turn the flame to low.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder, mix all mixture into the pan, mix well, and cook on low flame for 1 minute.
- Now, turn off the flame, transfer the mix to a greased plate, and spread well.
- Now garnish it with chopped pistachio and let it a little cool.
- Now, cut it into small squire pieces.
- Now, let it set for some time.
- Now, de-mould Mewa Paag, and your Mewa Paag is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
