Matar Veg Tikka Recipe | How to make Green Peas Tikka | Easy Matar Breakfast Recipe
Materials
- 1 cup Green Peas
- 2 Chopped Green chilli
- 5 pods Garlic
- 1 inch Chopped Ginger
- 3/4 cup Besan/Gram Flour
- 1/4 cup Semolina/Sooji
- 2.5 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Finely chopped capsicum
- 2 tbsp Finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- Oil for shallow fry
Instructions
- To make this Matar(Peas) Snack take 1 cup 50% Boiled Green Peas.
- Now, take a grinding jar and boiled peas, two chopped green chilli, five pods of garlic, 1-inch ginger.
- Now grind everything on the pulse and make a coarse paste.
- Now, take a bowl and add 3/4 cup of gram flour to it.
- Now add 1/4 cup of semolina, 1 cup of water and make a fine lump-free batter.
- Now again, add 2.5 cups of water, 2 tbsp of capsicum, 2 tbsp of finely chopped onion, peas paste.
- Now add 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 tsp of chaat masala, 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander.
- Now mix everything well and prepare a batter.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add 2 tbsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, and mix well.
- Now add prepared batter into pan and cook on medium-high flame and stir continuously.
- After 5-6 minutes, turn the flame to low and cook until it turns thick.
- Now add 1 tsp of lemon juice and mix well.
- While cooking the mix, take a tray or plate and grease it with oil.
- After the mix is completely cooked, turn off the flame, transfer it to a plate, and spread according to thickness.
- Now, let it set for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, cut it into small pieces and transfer all pieces to a tray.
- Now bake it in 180 degrees preheated oven for 20-25 minutes of deep or shallow fry it.
- Not to shallow fry it places a pan on flame and 1 tbsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is a little hot, add tikka pieces into the pan and fry well.
- After they turn golden, turn them to another side and fry well on both sides.
- After tikka turns golden, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your crispy Matar Tikka are completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
