Matar Paneer Pulao Recipe | How to make Matar Paneer Pulao | Easy Pulao Recipe
Materials
- Basmati Rice – 1.5 cup
- Paneer – 200 grams
- Clarified Butter/Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Cashew nut – 3 tbsp
- Yellow Raisins – 1 tbsp
- Clarified Butter/Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seed/Jeera – 1 tbsp
- Bay Leaf – 2
- Cinnamon Stick – 2
- Cardamom – 4
- Cardamom – 1
- Star Anise/Chakraphool
- Black Peppercorns – 8 to 10
- Cloves/Laung – 4
- Asafoetida/Hing – 1/4 tsp
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Chopped Ginger – 1-inch
- Slit green chilli – 2
- Slitted Red chilli – 2
- Chopped Carrot – 1/4 cup
- Green Peas – 1 cup
- Red Chili – 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Water – 2.75 cup
- Lemon Juice – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- To make a Perfect Restaurant style Matar Paneer Pulao, first take 1 cup of Basmati Rice, wash well and soak it for 20 minutes.
- Now, take 200 grams of Paneer and cut it into small cubes.
- Now place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee, and heat well.
- After ghee melts, add Paneer cubes into the pan and fry well.
- After Paneer turns golden brown, transfer it to a plate.
- In the remaining ghee, add 3 tbsp of Cashew and fry well on low flame.
- After Cashew is roasted well, transfer them to a plate.
- Now add 1 tbsp of Raisins and roast well for some seconds; after the Raisins are roasted, transfer them to a plate.
- Now place a Kadhai on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee and melt well.
- After ghee melts, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds; after cumin starts cracking, add 2 bay leaves, 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 green cardamoms, 1 big cardamom, one star-anise, 8-10 black peppercorns, 4 cloves, and roast saute on low flame.
- After some seconds, add 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1 finely chopped onion, and roast well on medium flame.
- After the onion turns a little golden, add 1 inch of chopped ginger, 2 slits of green chillies, 2 slits of red chillies, and roast well.
- Now add soaked rice(remove the excess water from the rice) and saute well on low flame.
- After some time, add 1/4 cup of finely chopped carrot, 1 cup of green peas, and saute well on low, medium flame.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, and mix well.
- Now add 2.75 cups of water, salt as per taste and mix well.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of lemon juice, close the lid and cook for 8 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, remove the lid, add fried Paneer, Cashew & raisins and mix well.
- Now, close the lid and cook for 3 minutes.
- After 3 minutes, check the Pulao and garnish it with coriander.
- Now turn off the flame, close the lid, and let it cook in steam for 3-4 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes, your Matar Paneer Pulao is Ready to serve.
- Now your Matar Paneer Pulao is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
