Matar Kachori Recipe | How to make Matar Kachori at Home | Green Peas Kachori Recipe
Materials
- 2 cup All purpose flour
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 1/5 cup Fresh Green Peas
- 2 Green Chilies
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Caraway
- 1/4 tsp Asafetida
- 1 tbsp. Crushed Saunf
- 2 tbsp. Besan
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Amchur Powder
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- Cooking oil for deep fry
Instructions
- To make Perfect Matar Ki Kachori, take a bowl and add 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
- Now add salt as per taste, 2 pinches of baking soda, 1/4 cup of oil and mix everything well.
- Now, tie the flour in your fist; if the dough takes shape, then it means that the amount of oil is perfect.
- Now, little by little, add water and prepare a soft dough.
- Now, take a grinding jar, add 1.5 cups of fresh green peas, 2 green chillies, 1-inch ginger, and make a coarse paste.
- Now place a pan on flame, add 2 tsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp of caraway, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of crushed fennel, 2 tbsp of gram flour and saute on medium flame.
- After some seconds, add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and mix well.
- Now add prepared peas, mix and mix well and roast on medium flame.
- After 2 minutes, add 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder, salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of garam masala and mix everything well.
- Now garnish it with chopped coriander, turn off the flame, and let it cool.
- After the stuffing has cooled, prepare small balls with it one by one.
- Now, check your dough and knead it one more time.
- Now, one by one, take a small portion of dough and prepare round balls with them.
- Now, take a ball, spread it, and place a stuffing ball on it.
- Now close it from all sides, press on it and spread a little.
- Now, prepare Kachori with the remaining dough and stuffing.
- Now place a pan on flame, add oil for frying and heat well.
- After the oil is medium hot, add prepared Kachori into oil and fry well on low flame.
- After some time, flip your Kachori and fry on both sides until gold and crispy.
- After your Kachori’s turn golden & crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your Perfect Matar Kachori is ready, and you can enjoy it.
