Easy Malpua Recipe | How to make Malpua – step by step with images and video.

Malpua is one of the oldest Indian sweet and in most Indian festivals malpua have a special place.

Today in this post I am going to share a very easy recipe for making very tasty and delicious Malpua at home.

What is Malpua and its History?

This was the most productive grain eaten by the arya of the Vedic time frame. One readiness was a sweet cake called apūpa, where grain flour was either singed in ghee or bubbled in water, and afterward dunked in nectar. Malpua jelly both the name and the basics of this arrangement.

What are the ingredients of Malpua?

  • Semolina – 1 cup/200gms
  • Sugar Powder – 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp
  • Crushed Fennel – 1 tsp
  • Milk Powder – 1.5 tbsp
  • Malai – 3 tbsp
  • Warm Milk – 1 cup
  • Baking Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar – 400 gms
  • Water – 200 ML
  • Lime Juice – 1/4 tsp
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Cooking oil For frying

Materials

  • 1 cup Semolina 
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Powder
  • 1 tap Cardamom Powder
  • 1 tsp Crushed Fennel 
  • 1.5 tbsp Milk Powder
  • 3 tbsp Malai 
  • 1 cup Warm Milk
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 400 gms Sugar 
  • 200 ML Water 
  • 1/4 tsp Lime Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Cooking oil For frying

Instructions

  • To make Malpua, first of all, take a bowl.
  • Add now 1 cup semolina, 1/2 cup sugar powder, 1 tsp of cardamom powder, 1 tsp of crushed fennel, 1.5 cup milk powder, 3 tbsp of milk cream, and mix everything well.
  • Now add warm milk little by little and mix well and prepare a pouring consistency batter.
  •  Now add 1/4 TSP of baking powder and mix well and keep aside to set.
  • Now put a pan, let the gas, and add 400 grams of sugar, 200 mL of water and sugar dissolve on high flame.
  • After the sugar dissolves, turn the gas to low flame and add 1/4 TSP of lime juice, 1/4 TSP of cardamom powder, and boil until 1 string consistency.
  •  Now check the batter again and add the remaining milk and set the consistency.
  • Now put a pan on gas and add cooking oil and heat it medium flame.
  • After the oil is heated put a ladle full of batter and fry it.
  • Now flip it and fry both sides on malpua until it became golden.
  • After it turns golden brown remove excess oil with help of another laddle and take it out on a plate.
  • Now follow the same process and make malpua from all Batter.
  • Now Put sugar syrup on gas and heat it.
  • Now add malpua into the warm sugar syrup and dip it for 5 minutes.
  • Now Deleciuc malpua is ready and for garnishing, you can add dry fruits to it

Malpua Recipe – Step By Step

1- To make Malpua, first of all, take a bowl.

6 – After the sugar dissolves, turn the gas to low flame and add 1/4 TSP of lime juice, 1/4 TSP of cardamom powder, and boil until 1 string consistency.
