Katori Rava Dhokla Recipe | How to make Katori Dhokla at Home | Rava Dhokla Recipe
Materials
- 1 cup Semolina
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 3/4 tsp Water
- 3 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
- 3 tbsp finely chopped carrot
- 2 tbsp chopped beans
- 1 finely chopped onion
- chopped coriander
- 1 tsp green chilli & ginger paste
- salt as per taste
- 1 sachet Eno fruit salt
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 pinch asafoetida
- curry leaves
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 3 slits green chilli
Instructions
- To make Katori Rava Dhokla, first take a bowl and add 1 cup of semolina.
- Now add 1 tsp of oil, 1 tsp of lemon juice, little by little, add 3/4 cup of water, and mix well.
- Now, close the lid and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Now, place a pan on flame, add 1.5 glasses of water, and heat well on medium flame.
- Now, take small bowls and grease them with oil.
- After 10 minutes, check the batter and mix well if the batter is thick, then add water to adjust the consistency.
- Now add 3 tbsp of finely chopped capsicum, 3 tbsp of finely chopped carrot, 2 tbsp of chopped beans, one finely chopped onion, chopped coriander.
- Now add 1 tsp of green chilli & ginger paste and mix everything well.
- Now add salt as per taste and mix well.
- Now add a sachet of Eno fruit salt, water and mix well in one direction.
- Now, fill the batter into the bowls.
- Now, place a stand in the pan and plate a plate on the stand.
- Now, place all Katori on the plate.
- Now, close the lid and steam for 15 minutes on medium flame.
- After 15 minutes, remove the lid and check the dhokla with the help of a toothpick and let it cool.
- Now, to prepare the Tadka, place a Tadka pan on flame, add 2 tsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, two pinch asafoetida, curry leaves, 1 tsp of sesame seeds, three slits green chilli.
- Now turn off the flame and keep it aside.
- Now, take out all dhokla from the bowl.
- Now garnish the dhokla with Tadka and grated coconut.
- Now your Katori Rawa dhokla is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
