Materials

  • 250 Gms Cashew Nut/Kaju
  • 200 gms Sugar Powder
  • Silver leaf/Silver vark

Instructions

  • To make perfect Kaju Katli take 250 grams of Kaju/cashew.
  • Now wash your Kaju with water 2 -3 times and soak it into the water for 2-3 hours.
  • After 1-2 hours, drain the excess water.
  • Now add soaked cashew into a grinding jar, grind well and make a fine paste.
  • Now, take a pan and add cashew paste into it.
  • Now add 200 grams of sugar powder and mix well with Kaju paste.
  • Now, place the pan on low flame, cook well and stir continuously until the mix turns thick.
  • After the Kaju mix turns thick & starts leaving the pan, take a small portion of the mix and prepare a ball with it; if the ball does not stick at your hands, this means your mix is cooked perfectly.
  • Now, turn off the flame, transfer the mix to a greased plastic seat and let it a little cool.
  • When the mix is a little cool, knead the mix with the help of a plastic seat until it turns soft.
  • Now roll your Kaju Katli mix with the help of a roller pin and make it like a squire.
  • Now garnish your Kaju Katli with silver leaf and cut it into a diamond shape.
  • Now your Perfect Kaju Katli is ready, and you can enjoy it.
