Materials
For Idli
- Flattened Rice – 1 Cup
- Semolina – 1 cup
- Curd – 1 cup
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mustard Seed – 1 tsp
- Black gram/Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Chickpeas Split – 1 tsp
- Chopped Curry Leaf
- Chopped Capsicum Salt – 1 pinch
- Chopped Coriander
- Fruit Salt – 1 pcs
- Water to Activate
For Sambar
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mustard Seed – 1 tsp
- Cumin Seed/Jeera – 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida/Hing – 2 pinch
- Fenugreek Seed – 1/4 tsp
- Dried Red Chili
- Curry Leaf/Kari Patta
- Chopped Onion in Petals
- Chopped Carrot
- Chopped Bottle Gourd
- Chopped Pumpkin
- Chopped Green Chili
- Chopped Tomato
- Salt as required
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Kashmiri Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
- Sambhar Masala – 2 tsp
- Toor/Arhar Dal – 1/4 Cup
- Water – 2 Cup
- Tamarind water – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Coriander
Instructions
- To make the perfect Idli, take a grinding jar, add 1 cup of flattened rice, and make a fine powder.
- Now transfer the Poha powder to a bowl, add 1 cup of semolina, and mix well.
- Now add 1 cup of curd, little by little, add 2 cups of water and prepare a semi-thick batter.
- Now place a pan on medium flame, add 1 tbsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp of urad dal, and 1 tsp of chickpeas split, and saute a little.
- Now add some curry leaves, 2 tbsp of chopped capsicum, 2 tbsp of red capsicum, 2 tbsp of yellow capsicum, 2 tbsp of chopped carrot, and 2 chopped green chilli.
- Now mix and saute for 1 minute.
- After one minute, add salt as per taste, mix well and turn off the flame.
- Now add cooked veggies & finely chopped coriander into the batter and mix everything well.
- Now place the Softel Multi Kadhai on low flame, add 1 tbsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 2 pinch asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of fenugreek seeds, and saute a little.
- Now add 2 dry red chillies, some curry leaves, 2 chopped onions, 1 chopped carrot, 4 tbsp of chopped bottle gourd, 4 tbsp of chopped pumpkin and 2 chopped green chillies.
- Now mix everything well and roast well on low to medium flame.
- After roasting a little, add 2 chopped tomatoes, and salt as per taste and mix everything well.
- Now add 1/ 2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 2 tbsp of sambhar masala, and mix everything well.
- Now add 1/4 cup of boiled Toor dal, and 2 cups of water and mix everything well.
- Now add 2 tbsp of tamarind water, close the lid and boil.
- Now check your Idli Batter, add 1 sachet of Eno Fruit salt, little water, and mix well.
- Now, take Softel Idli Mould and grease it with oil.
- Now pour Idli Batter into Idli Mould.
- Now place the Idli Mould into Sambhar Kadhai.
- Now close the lid, and steam the Idli for 10-12 Minutes.
- After 10-12 Minutes, check your Idli and Sambhar and turn off the flame.
- Now garnish your Sambhar with the chopped coriander.
- Now your Instant Sambhar and Idli are completely ready, and you can enjoy them.

Instant Idli Sambar Recipe – Step By Step

13 – Now mix everything well and roast well on low to medium flame.
14 – After roasting a little, add 2 chopped tomatoes, and salt as per taste and mix everything well.
15 – Now add 1/ 2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 2 tbsp of sambhar masala, and mix everything well.
16 – Now add 1/4 cup of boiled Toor dal, and 2 cups of water and mix everything well.
17 – Now add 2 tbsp of tamarind water, close the lid and boil.
18 – Now check your Idli Batter, add 1 sachet of Eno Fruit salt, little water, and mix well.
19 – Now, take Softel Idli Mould and grease it with oil.
20 – Now pour Idli Batter into Idli Mould.
21 – Now place the Idli Mould into Sambhar Kadhai.
22 – Now close the lid, and steam the Idli for 10-12 Minutes.
23 – After 10-12 Minutes, check your Idli and Sambhar and turn off the flame.
24 – Now garnish your Sambhar with the chopped coriander.
25 – Now your Instant Sambhar and Idli are completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
