Ingredients of Gobi Aloo Chop Recipe

  • Gram flour – 2 cups 
  • Rice flour – 3 tbsp 
  • Ajwain – 1/2 tsp 
  • Salt as per taste 
  • Red chillies  powder – 1/2 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp 
  • Gobi – 1 pcs
  • Oil – 1 tbsp 
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp 
  • Finely chopped onion – 1 pcs
  • Finely chopped green chilli – 2 pcs
  • Grated ginger – 1 inch 
  • Finely chopped Garlic – 6-7 cloves
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp 
  • Red chilli powder – 1 
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp 
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp 
  • Chaat Masala – 1 tsp 
  • Boiled & grated potatoes -2 pcs
  • Salt as per taste 
  • Finely chopped coriander 
  • Oil for frying 
  • Baking powder – 1/2 tsp 

For Green Chutney 

  • Coriander 
  • Mint leaves
  • Green chillies – 2-3 pcs
  • Ginger – 1 inch 
  • Garlic cloves – 6 pcs
  • Peanuts – 1 tbsp 
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp 
  • Salt as per taste 
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch
  • Black salt – 1/4 tsp 
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp 
  • Ice cubes – 3-4 pcs
  • Water – 1-2 tbsp

  • Gram flour – 2 cups 
  • Rice flour – 3 tbsp

  • Gobi – 1 pcs
  • Oil – 1 tbsp 
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp 
  • Finely chopped onion – 1 pcs
  • Finely chopped green chilli – 2 pcs
  • Grated ginger – 1 inch 
  • Finely chopped Garlic – 6-7 cloves
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp 
  • Red chilli powder – 1 
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp 
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp 
  • Chaat Masala – 1 tsp 
  • Boiled & grated potatoes -2 pcs
  • Salt as per taste 
  • Finely chopped coriander 
  • Oil for frying
  •  Baking powder – 1/2 tsp 

For Green Chutney 

  • Coriander 
  • Mint leaves
  • Green chillies – 2-3 pcs
  • Ginger – 1 inch 
  • Garlic cloves – 6 pcs
  • Peanuts – 1 tbsp 
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp 
  • Salt as per taste 
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch

  • Black salt – 1/4 tsp 
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp 
  • Ice cubes – 3-4 pcs
  • Water – 1-2 tbsp

Instructions

  • To make perfect Gobi Aloo Chop, first take a bowl and add 2 cups of gram flour to it.
  • Now add 3 tbsp of rice flour, 1/2 tsp of Ajwain, salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, and mix well.
  • Now, little by little, add water and make a medium consistency batter.
  • Now cover the batter and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Now, take one medium size Gobi and wash & cut it into small pieces.
  • Now, take a chopper and finely chop the Gobi ( if you do not have the choper, then grate the Gobi ).
  • Now, place a pan on flame, add 1 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot add, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, one finely chopped onion, and saute well on medium flame.
  • After some seconds, two finely chopped green chillies, 1 inch of grated ginger, 6-7 finely chopped garlic cloves, and saute well.
  • After some time, add finely chopped the Gobi and mix well.
  • Now, close the lid and cook for 1 minute.
  • After 1 minute, remove the lid, add 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of chaat masala, and mix everything well.
  • Now add two boiled & grated potatoes, mix well, and roast.
  • Now add salt as per taste, finely chopped coriander, and mix well.
  • Now close the lid and let it little cool.
  • Now, place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
  • When the stuffing is medium hot, one by one, take the small size of mix and prepare a Tikkies with it.
  • Now check the batter and add 1/2 tsp of baking powder, 1 tbsp of hot oil, and mix well.
  • After the oil is medium hot, one by one, first dip the prepared takkies into the batter; after this, drop them into hot oil and dry well.
  • After gobi Aloo Chop turns golden and crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
  • Now your Gobi Aloo Chop is completely ready, and you can enjoy it with Green chutney.

Green Chutney Recipe 

  • To make perfect Green chutney, take a grinding jar and add fresh coriander, a handful of mint, 2-3 green chilies, 1 inch of ginger, six garlic cloves, 1 tbsp of peanuts.
  • Now add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, salt as per taste, two pinch asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of black salt, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 3-4 ice cubes.
  • Now add 1-2 tbsp of water, blend well and make a fine paste.
  • Now your green chutney is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.

Gobi Aloo Chop Recipe – Step By Step

1 – To make perfect Gobi Aloo Chop, first take a bowl and add 2 cups of gram flour to it.
