Dry Gulab Jamun Recipe | Dry Gulab Jamun with Milk Powder | Dry Jamun Recipe
Materials
- Water -1 cup
- Sugar- 1 cup
- Cardamom – 2 pcs
- Lemon Juice- 1/2 tsp
- Milk Powder – 1 cup
- Sooji- 1 tsp
- Meda – 3 tbsp
- Pinch of baking soda
- Ghee- 1 tsp
- Curd – 1 tsp
- Cardamom Powder(optional)
- Raisins/Kishmish (optional)
Instructions
- To make Dry Kala Jamun, place a pan on flame and add 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, and melt the sugar on medium flame.
- After some time, melts, add two cardamom pods, 1/2 tsp of lemon juice, mix well, and prepare a syrup.
- While boiling the sugar syrup, take a bowl and add 1 cup of milk powder, 1 tsp of semolina, 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour, one pinch of baking soda, 1 tsp of ghee, 1 tsp of fresh curd, and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add warm milk, mix well, and prepare a soft dough(do not knead the dough).
- After 5 minutes, check the sugar syrup, turn off the flame, and make sure that the sugar syrup is near one string.
- Now, take lemon size dough and spread it like the following image.
- Now, place cardamom powder and some raisins on it.
- Now close it from all sides and prepare around balls.
- Now prepare Gulab Jamun from the remaining dough.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for frying and heat well.
- After the oil is medium hot, add prepared Gulab Jamun into the pan and fry well on low, medium flame.
- After gulab jamun, turn little golden, flip them and fry on both sides until dark golden.
- Now, place the sugar syrup pan on flame and heat well.
- Now add fried Gulab jamun into the hot sugar syrup.
- After sugar syrup is hot, turn off the flame and leave the Gulab Jamun into sugar syrup for 2-3 hours
- After 2-3 hours, check the gulab jamun.
- Now, one by one, take out gulab jamun from the sugar syrup and coat it with desiccated coconut.
- Now your Perfect Dry Gulab Jamun is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
