Materials
For Gulkand Double Delight Barfi
- Milk – 1 Cup
- Sugar – 3/4 Cup
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Milk Powder – 2.5 Cup
- Gulkand – 4 tbsp
- Desiccated Coconut – 4 tbsp
For Varki Puri
- All Purpose Flour – 2 cups
- Semolina – 4 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Carrom Seeds – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Black Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Hot Clarified butter – 1/4 cup
- All purpose flour – 2 tbsp
- Clarified Butter – 2 tbsp
Instructions
Gulkand Double Delight Barfi
- To make amazing Gulkand Double Delight Barfi, first take a pan and add 1 cup of milk, 3/4 cup of sugar, 3 tbsp of ghee.
- Now, little by little, add 2.5 cups of milk powder and mix well with a whisker.
- Now, place the pan on flame, cook on low flame, and stir until it starts leaving the pan.
- To make Gulkand stuffing take a bowl and add 4 tbsp of Gulkand, 4 tbsp of desiccated coconut, chopped dry fruits.
- Now mix everything well, and your Gulkand stuffing is ready.
- Now, take a tray and grease it with ghee, place butter paper into it, and grease it with ghee as well.
- After the Barfi mix turns thick and starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame and divide the mixture into two parts.
- Now, add one part of the mix into the tray and spread well.
- Now add Gulkand Stuffing and make a layer of it.
- Now add the second portion to the mix and spread well, and let it Set for some time.
- Now take out barfi on a platform, garnish it with the silver Vark and cut it into pieces.
- Now your Gulkand double delight barfi is completely ready.
Layered Varki Puri Recipe
- To make layered Varki puri, first take a bowl and add 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
- Now add 4 tbsp of fine semolina, salt as per taste, 1 tsp of carom seeds, 1/2 tsp of pepper powder, 1/2 tsp of kalonji(black cumin), 1/4 cup of ghee and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add water and knead well and prepare s stiff dough.4 – Now, let it rest for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, check the dough and divide it into small parts.
- Now, take a bowl and add 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp of ghee, and mix well.
- Now, one by roll all dough and prepare square shape poori.
- Now, take one poori, apply all-purpose flour mix, and place the second puri on it.
- Now again, apply all-purpose flour mix and place the third puri on it.
- Now, one more time, apply all-purpose flour mix and place fourth poori on it.
- Now again apply, prepare all-purpose mix on it and prepare a log.
- Now, cut the log into small pieces.
- Now, one by one, roll all pieces.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry and heat well.
