- Desiccated Coconut – 1 cup
- Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – 1/2cup
- Saffron Strands
- Clarified Butter – 1/2 cup

Instructions
- To make the most tasty coconut besan barfi, place a pan on the flame, add 1 cup of gram-flour, and dry roast on a low flame.
- After the gram-flour turns aromatic, turn off the flame, add 1 cup of desiccated coconut, and mix well.
- Next step: add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
- Next step: place a Kadhai on the flame, add 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water, and melt on a medium flame.
- Next step: add saffron strands and mix well.
- After the sugar consistency is sticky, turn off the flame. Little by little, add the prepared gram-flour mix and mix well.
- Next step: turn on the flame and cook for a minute.
- After one minute, add 1/2 cup of ghee in batches and mix well.
- After the barfi mix leaves the pan, turn off the flame and transfer it to a greased plate.
