Cabbage Pakora Recipe | How to make Cabbage Pakora | Patta Gobi Pakoda Recipe
Materials
- Cabbage – 1 Pcs
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds powder – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped onion – 1 pcs
- Chopped Green chilli – 2-3 pcs
- Garlic cloves – 5-6
- Finely chopped ginger – 1 Inch
- Finely chopped coriander
- Gram Flour – 5 tbsp
- Rice flour – 4 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- To make amazing and crispy cabbage Pakora/Patta Gobi Pakoda, first take 1 medium size Cabbage and cut it into small slices.
- Now wash the chopped Cabbage with water and remove the excess water.
- Now add 1 tsp of salt, mix well, and leave it for 5 minutes, so Cabbage starts releasing the water.
- After 5 minutes, squeeze the Cabbage and remove the excess water.
- Now into the Cabbage, add 1 tbsp of coarse coriander seeds powder, 1 tsp of coarse red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of chaat masala, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder.
- Now add 1 chopped onion, 2-3 chopped green chilli, 5-6 chopped garlic cloves, 1 inch of finely chopped ginger, finely chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- Now add 5 tbsp of gram flour(as required), 4 tbsp of rice flour(alternatively use arrowroot powder or cornflour), and mix well and prepare a dough(if your dough is hard, then add little water and if your dough is very soft then add more gram flour).
- Now add salt as per taste and mix well.
- Now grease your hand with oil, and one by one, prepare medium thick patties with dough.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for shallow fry and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, turn the flame to low medium and add prepared Patties into oil and fry well.
- After patties turn a little golden, turn them to another side and fry until golden and crispy.
- After Patties turns golden, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your Cabbage Pakora/Cabbage Patties of Patta Gobi Pakoda is ready, and you can enjoy it.

excellent recipe. Could u let me know you have added 1/2 tsp or 3/4 tsp salt for dough.
I have used 1/2 tsp of Salt you can add as your taste
