Bombay Ice Halwa Recipe | How to make Ice Halwa | Bombay Mahim Halwa Recipe
Materials
- Milk – 2 cups
- Semolina – 1/4 cup
- Ghee – 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Saffron – 1 Pinch
- Saffron Colour – 1 pinch
- Cardamom Powder
- Chopped Pistachio
- Chopped Almonds
Instructions
- To make amazing Bombay Ice Halwa, first take a heavy-based pan and add 2 cups of milk.
- Now add 1/4 cup of semolina, 1/4 cup of ghee, 1 cup of sugar.
- Now, place the pan and flame and mix well and stir continuously on low flame.
- After 5-6 minutes, add 1 pinch of saffron soaked into milk and mix well.
- Now add 1 pinch of Saffron food colour and mix well.
- After 10-12minutes, add 1 tsp of ghee and mix well.
- Now again, add 1 tsp of ghee, mix well, and cook until it starts leaving the pan.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame(After 25 minutes) and stir continuously.
- Now, take a silver foil and grease it with ghee/oil.
- Now transfer halwa on paper and spread well with the help of a roller pin.
- Now sprinkle cardamom powder and garnish it with chopped pistachio and almonds.
- Now, let it Set for 4-5 hours.
- After 4-5 hours cut it into squire pieces and remove the foil paper.
- Now, keep all pieces in the fridge.
- Now your Bombay ice Halwa is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
