Besan Barfi Recipe | How to make Gram Flour Barfi | Besan Ki Barfi Recipe
Materials
- Besan/Gram Flour – 1 & 1/2 cup(180 gms)
- Ghee – 1/3 cup (80 gms)
- Sooji/Semolina – 2 tbsp
- Kesar Food Color – 1 pinch
- Sugar – 1/2 cup (150 gms)
- Water – 1/3 cup
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Dry fruits for garnishing
Instructions
- To make amazing Besan Barfi, first place a pan on flame, add 1.5 cups of gram flour, and roast well on low flame.
- Now add 1/3 cup of ghee in batches and mix well and stir continuously.
- After mixing ghee & besan well, add 2 tbsp of semolina, mix well, and roast until golden.
- After the mix turns golden and starts releasing the ghee, add 1 pinch of saffron food colour and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame and stir continuously and let it a little cool.
- Now place a pan on flame and add 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/3 cup of water, mix well, and prepare near one string consistency syrup.
- After some time, add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
- After syrup turn near one string, consistency syrup turns off the flame and lets it cool for 2 minutes.
- Now, take a tray and grease it with ghee.
- Now, little by little, add sugar syrup into Besan Mix and mix well.
- After the mix leaves the pan, transfer it to the greased tray and spread well.
- Now garnish the Barfi with dry fruits and let it set for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, check the Barfi and cut it into pieces.
- Now your Instant and Quick Barfi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
