- 2 Raw Potatoes
- 2 cups Besan/Gram Flour
- 1/4 cup Rice Flour
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Ajwain/Carom Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 Chopped Green Chilli
- 2 pinch Asafoetida
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
- Turmeric Powder
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- 1 cup Water
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- To make the perfect Aloo Pakoda, take two raw potatoes, peel them and keep them in the water.
- Now, take a slice, cut the potato into medium-thin slices, and keep them in water.
- Now, take a bowl, and add 2 cups of gram flour to it.
- Now add 1/4 cup of rice flour, salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of carom seeds, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, two chopped green chilli, two pinches of asafoetida.
- Now add 1 tsp of red chilli flakes, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, finely chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add water as required and prepare a medium-thin batter.
- Now, place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
- Now add 2 tbsp of hot oil into the batter and mix well.
- Now, take your potato slices, transfer them to a cloth, and remove the excess water.
- Now, one by one, take a potato slice, dip it into the batter; after this, drop it into the hot oil.
- Now fry your Aloo Pakoda until it turns golden and crispy.
- After your Aloo Pakoda turns golden & crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your Perfect Aloo Pakoda is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
