Materials
- All Purpose flour – 3/2 cup
- Semolina – 2 tbsp
- Achari Masala – 3/2 tbsp
- Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 tsp
- Slat- 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
- Hot Oil – 4 tbsp
Instructions
- To make amazing Achari Mathri, first take a bowl and add 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour.
- Now add 2 tbsp of semolina, 3/2 tsp of Achari Masala, 1/2 tsp of ajwain, one pinch asafoetida, 1 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Now add 4 tbsp of hot oil and mix well.
- Now, little by little, add water and prepare a stiff dough.
- Now, let it set for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, check the dough and knead well one more time.
- Now, divide the dough into two parts and prepare round balls.
- While preparing the Mathri, Place a pan on flame, add oil for deep fry, and heat well.
- Now, take one portion of dough and roll it with the help of a roller pin.
- Now prick on the rolled dough with the help of a fork.
- Now, cut it into pieces with the help of a cookie cutter or Bottlecap.
- After the hot oil, add prepared Mathri into the pan and fry well until golden crisp.
- After Mathri Turns golden and crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
