- Wheat flour – 2 cups
- Semolina – 4 tbsp
- Carom seeds – 1 tsp
- Peppercorns – 1/2 tsp
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Water
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- To make the amazing Atta Namak Para, take a wide plate, and add 2 cups of wheat flour.
- Next step – 4 tbsp of semolina, 1 tsp of carom seeds, 1/2 tsp of pepper corn and mix everything well.
- Next step – add 4 tbsp of oil in batches & salt per taste and mix well(If flour holds shape, this means flour is perfect for Namak Para).
- Next step – add water in batches and prepare a hard dough.
- Next step - apply ghee on the dough, cover it and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Next step – take a small portion of dough and roll a medium-thickness Roti.
- Next step – cut the Roti into a small diamond shape Namak Pare.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
- After the oil is medium hot, add prepared Namak Pare into the oil and fry well until golden & crispy.
- After the Namak Pare turns golden & crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
