Materials
- Gram flour – 1 cup
- Salt per taste
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Boiled potato – 3
- Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Red chilli flakes – 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala – 1 tsp
- Ginger green chili paste – 1 tsp
- Salt per taste
- Chopped coriander
- Tomato ketchup
- Red chilli sauce
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Curry leaves
- Slit green chilli
- Lemon juice
- Chopped coriander
Instructions
- To make the perfect Bread Ka Nasta, take a bowl, add 1 cup of gram flour, salt per taste, and 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder,
- Next step – little by little add water and prepare a thick batter.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of oil and whisk well.
- Next step – take a bowl, add three boiled & grated potatoes, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of red chilli flakes, 1 tsp of chaat masala.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of ginger green chilli paste, salt per taste, and chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- Next step – take a bread slice, cut the brown edges, and roll it with the help of a roller pin.
- Next step – take a small bowl, add 3 tbsp of tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp of red chilli sauce, and mix well.
- Next step – take the rolled bread slice, and apply the prepared sauce.
- Next step – place the prepared potato mix and tightly roll the bread.
- Next step – prepare the roll with the remaining bread slices.
- Next step – take a strainer plate, and grease it with oil.
- Next step – one by one coat the prepared bread roll with the gram flour mix and place them on the greased plate.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add water, close the lid, and boil the water.
- After the water starts boiling, place the strainer plate on the pan.
- Next step – close the lid and stem for five minutes on high flame.
- After 5 minutes, transfer the dhokla roll to a plate and let them cool.
- After the Dhokla roll turns cool, cut them into small pieces.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 1 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, one pinch of asafoetida, curry leaves, and slit green chilli.
- After a minute, add prepared dhokla rings and toss well.
- Next step – turn off the flame, add lemon juice, chopped coriander, and mix well.
