Materials
- Fresh Luaki – 500 gram
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Almonds – 2 tbsp
- Cashew nut – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Pistachio – 2 tbsp
- Milk – 1 ltr
- Soaked Sabudana (sago) – 1/3 cup
- Fresh milk cream – 4 tbsp
- Cashew nut powder – 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Green food colour (optional)
Instructions
- To make the perfect Lauki Sabudana Kheer, take 500 grams of Lauki and wash & peel them.
- Next step – cut the Lauki into small pieces and remove the middle portion.
- Next step – grate the Lauki with the help of a medium-sized grater.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee, and melt well.
- After the ghee melts, add 2 tbsp of chopped almonds, 2 tbsp of cashew, and 2 tbsp of chopped pistachio and fry everything.
- After the dry fruits turn golden, transfer them to a plate.
- Next step – add grated Lauki into the pan and cook on medium flame.
- After the Lauki tuns little soft, add 1 liter of milk, mix well, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- After the kheer turns a little thick, add 1/3 cup of soaked Sabudana and mix well.
- Next step – take a bowl, add 2 tbsp of milk cream, & 2 tbsp of cashew powder, and mix well.
- After the kheer turns thick, add 1 cup of sugar & prepared malai mix and mix well.
