Materials
- Radish – 3
- Salt – 1.5 tsp
- Wheat flour – 2 cups
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Ginger green chilli paste – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 2 pinch
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
- Dry mango powder – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped radish leaves – 2 tbsp
- Ghee
Instructions
- To make the perfect Mooli Ke Parathe, take three radishes, and wash & peel them.
- Next step – grate the Mooli using medium size grater.
- Next step – add 1.5 tsp of salt to the grated radish, mix well and keep it covered for 2 minutes.
- Next step – take a wide plate, add 2 cups of wheat flour and 1 tsp of salt, and mix well.
- Next step – little by little, add water and prepare a soft dough.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of oil to the dough and knead well.
- Next step – cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, check the Mooli, squeeze well, and remove the excess water.
- Next step – take a bowl, add grated Mooli, 1 tsp of grated ginger green chilli paste, 1/4 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of carom seeds, two pinches of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Next step – add 1/2 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder, finely chopped coriander, and 2 tbsp of finely chopped Radish leaves, and mix everything well.
- Next step – take a small portion of dough, and give it a round shape.
- Next step – spread the dough, make it like a bowl and fill the Mooli Stuffing.
- Next step – close the dough from all sides and prepare a round ball like the following image.
- Next step – coat the dough with flour and roll it to medium thickness.
- Next step – place a Tawa on flame, and heat well.
- Next step – place the prepared Paratha on Tawa and roast well.
- After some seconds, flip the Paratha and apply the ghee.
- After some seconds, again flip the Paratha and apply the ghee.
- After the Paratha turns golden and crispy, transfer it to a plate and roast the next Paratha.
