Chilli Potato Recipe | How to make Chilli Potato at Home | Aloo Chilli Potato Recipe
Materials
- Potatoes – 5
- Salt as per taste
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Corn flour – 4 tbsp
- All purpose flour – 4 tbsp
- Oil for frying
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Finely chopped onion – 1
- Chopped garlic – 1/4 cup
- Chopped ginger – 1 Inch
- Coriander Stem – 2 tbsp
- Slit green chilli – 3-4
- Soya sauce – 1 tsp
- Red chilli sauce – 1 tsp
- Kashmiri red chilli paste – 1 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Chopped capsicum – 1/4 cup
- Onion petals Water – 3 tbsp
- Corn flour – 1 tsp
- Chopped spring onion greens
Instructions
- To make the amazing Restaurant Style Chilli Potato, take five peeled potatoes and keep them in water.
- Next step – cut the edges of the potato and cut it into a squire shape.
- Next step – cut the potato into small slices and keep them in water.
- Next step – drain the water from the potato.
- Next step – add salt per taste, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, and 1/4 tsp of pepper powder.
- Next step – add 4 tbsp of corn-flour, and 4 tbsp of all-purpose flour and mix everything well.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, one by one, add potato pieces into the oil and fry well on high flame until golden & crispy.
- After the potato fries turn golden & crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- After the potato fried turns cool, fry them again in hot oil for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, transfer the fried potato to a plate.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of and heat on high flame.
- After the oil is hot, add one finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup of chopped garlic, and 1 inch of chopped ginger, and roast well for 30 seconds on high flame.
- Next step – add 2 tbsp of chopped coriander stem, 3-4 slit green chilli, and stir fry.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of soya sauce, 1 tsp of red chilli sauce, 1 tbsp of Kashmiri red chilli paste, 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup, and mix well.
- Next step – add salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of pepper powder, and mix well.
- Next step – add 1/4 cup of chopped capsicum(red, green & yellow) and one onion petal and mix well.
- Next step – add 3 tbsp of water and mix well.
- Next step – little by little, add corn flour slurry(1 tsp of corn flour mixed in water) and mix well.
- Next step – add fried potato, mix well and cook for 30-40 seconds.
- After 30-40 seconds, turn off the flame and garnish it with chopped spring onion greens.

Chilli Potato Recipe – Step By Step
