Materials
For Bedmi Puri Recipe
- Wheat flour – 1.5 cup
- Semolina – 1.5 cup
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Carom Seed – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric – 2 Pinch
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tbsp
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Black gram – 1/2 cup
- Coriander Seed – 2 tbsp
- Black Peppercorns – 1 tsp
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Aniseed (Fennel Seeds) – 1 tbsp
- Dry Red Chili – 4 piece
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Green Chili – 2
- Chopped Ginger – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
- Water – 1/2 Cup
- Salt as per Taste
- Dry Mango Powder – 1 tsp
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
For Aloo Sabzi Recipe
- Pure Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Bay Leaf – 2
- Cloves – 2
- Fenugreek Seed – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
- Grated Ginger – 1 tbsp
- Chopped Green Chili – 4
- Turmeric – 1 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 2 tbsp
- Gram flour – 2 tbsp
- Grated Tomato – 2
- Salt as per Taste
- Prepared masala – 1 tbsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Boiled Potato – 4
- water – 1.5 Glass
- Chopped Coriander
- Dry Mango Powder – 1 tsp
- Kasoori Methi – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Coriander
Instructions
Bedmi Puri Recipe
- To make the perfect Bedmi Poori, take a big bowl, and add 1.5 cups of wheat flour.
- Next step – add 1.5 cups of semolina, salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of carom seeds, two pinches of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tbsp of Kasuri methi, and mix everything well.
- Next step – add 3 tbsp of ghee, and mix well.
- Next step – Little by little, add warm water and prepare a semi-soft dough.
- Next step – cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Next step – add 1/2 cup of Urad dal into a grinding jar, grind on the pulse, and coarse powder.
- Next step – take a grinding jar, add 2 tbsp of coriander seeds, 1 tsp of black peppercorn, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 tbsp of aniseed, four dry red chilli, grind well and make a coarse powder(Keep this 1 tbsp of Masala aside for Aloo Sabzi Recipe).
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the hot oil, add prepared Masala powder and roast well.
- Next step – add 1/2 tsp of asafoetida, mix well and fry on medium flame.
- Next step – add two chopped green chilli, and one tsp of finely chopped ginger, and roast well for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, add Urad dal powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, and one tsp of red chilli powder, mix well and cook.
- After the Urad dal turn aromatic, add 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp of water and mix well.
- Next step – add salt as per taste, 1 tsp of dry mango powder, 1 tbsp of Kasuri methi, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, turn off the flame and let it cool.
- After the stuffing turns cool, prepare small balls with it.
- Next step – check the dough and prepare small balls with the dough.
- Next step – take a dough ball and make it like a bowl.
- Next step – place a stuffing ball, and close it from all sides.
- Next step – roll the prepared Kachori with the help of a roller pin.
- Next step – add prepared kachori into hot oil and fry well until golden and crispy.
- After the Poori turns golden & crispy, transfer it to a plate and fry the next Poor.
- Now, your amazing Bedmi Poori is completely ready.
Aloo Sabzi Recipe
- To make the Mouthwatering Aloo Sabzi, place a kadhai on flame, add 1 tbsp of ghee, one tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- Next step – add two bay leaves, two cloves, 1/4 tsp of fenugreek seeds, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, and saute a little.
- After some time, add 1/ tsp of asafoetida, 1 tbsp of grated ginger, four chopped green chilli, and roast well.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of turmeric powder and 2 tbsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well.
- Next step – add 2 tbsp of gram flour and roast well on low flame until aromatic.
- After the gravy turns aromatic, add two grated tomatoes & salt as per taste, and cook on medium flame.
- Next step – add 1 tbsp of Saved Bedmi Puri Masala, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, mix well, and roast.
- Next step – add four boiled & roughly mashed potatoes, mix well and cook for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, add 1.5 glasses of water& chopped coriander and mix well.
- Next step – close the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame, add 1 tsp of dry mango powder, 1/2 tsp of Kasuri methi, chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- Now, your Bedmi Puri and Aloo Sabzi are completely ready, and you can enjoy them.

Bedmi Puri and Aloo Sabzi Recipe – Step By Step
