Materials
- Boiled Potatoes – 4 pcs
- Sooji – 200 Grams
- Besan – 1/2 cup
- Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Finely chopped tomato – 1 pcs
- Finely chopped green chilli – 2 pcs
- Coriander leaves
- Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- To make the Instant & Tasty Aloo Sooji Cheela, take a bowl, add 4 boiled potatoes and mash them well.
- Next step – add 200 grams of sooji, 1/2 cup of gram flour, 1/2 tsp of ajwain, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, and salt per taste.
- Next step – add a pinch of asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of garam masala, and mix everything well.
- Next step – little by little, add water and prepare a thick batter.
- Next step – add finely chopped green chilli, chopped coriander leaves, and finely chopped tomato and mix everything well.
- Next step – add water as required, mix well and prepare a medium thick batter.
- Now cover the batter and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, check the batter, and add little water if your batter turns thick.
- Next step – place a Tawa on flame, grease it with oil and heat well.
- After the Tawa turns hot, add 1 ladle full of batter to the Tawa and spread well in one direction.
- Next step – sprinkle some drops of oil, close the lid and cook well for 2 minutes on low flame.
- After 2 minutes, remove the lid, and flip the Cheela.
- Next step – sprinkle some drops of oil, and roast well for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, transfer the Cheela to a plate and roast the next Cheela.
