Materials
- Soya chunks – 1 Cup
- Hot Water – 2 Cup
- Basmati Rice – 1.5 cup
- Ginger And Garlic Paste -1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder -1/4 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 2 tbsp
- Garam Masala -1/2 tsp
- Biryani masala – 2 tbsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Kasoori Methi
- Fresh Curd – 5 tbsp
- Slitted Chillies – 4 to 6
- Chopped carrot
- Chopped Potatoes – 2
- Chopped french beans – 1/4 Cup
- Mint
- Chopped Coriander
- Cooking Oil – 4 tbsp
- Sliced Onion – 2
- Ghee 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seed/Jeera – 1 tsp
- Bay Leaf – 2
- Clove Cardamom – 4
- Cinnamon Stick
- Sliced Onion – 2
- Ginger And Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- Chopped Tomato – 2
- Kesar Milk
- Orange food color(optional)
- water 2.5 cup
Instructions
- To make the amazing Veg Soya Chunks Biryani, take 1 cup of soya chunks & 2 cups of hot water and let it soak for 5 minutes.
- Now, take a bowl, add 1.5 cups of Basmati Rice, and rinse basmati rice thoroughly in water.
- Now, soak the Rice in water for 20 minutes.
- Now squeeze all soya chunks and transfer them to a bowl.
- Now add 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 2 tbsp of biryani masala.
- Now add salt as per taste, little Kasuri methi, and mix everything well.
- Now add 5 tbsp of curd, 4-5 slitted green chilli, 1 chopped carrot, 2 chopped potatoes, 1/4 cup of chopped french beans.
- Now add chopped mint & coriander, and mix everything well.
- Now place a cooker on the flame, add 4 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 4 tbsp of chopped onion, and roast well until brown.
- After the onion turns golden, transfer it to a plate.
- Now add 1 tbsp of Ghee into the cooker and melt it on low to medium flame.
- Now add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 2 bay leaves, some cloves, 4 cardamom, 2 peppercorns, 2 cinnamon stick, and saute on low flame.
- Now add 2 sliced onions, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, and roast everything well for 3-4 minutes.
- Now add 2 chopped tomatoes, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Now add marinated masala and mix everything well.
- Now spread all masala and make a layer in the cooker.
- Now add soaked Rice (remove the excess water before adding) into the cooked and make a layer.
- Now sprinkle fried onion and make a layer.
- Now sprinkle garam masala and a little salt, chopped coriander, mint leaves, 2-3 tbsp of saffron milk, and orange food colour(optional).
- Now add 2-3 tbsp of Ghee and 2.5 cups of water.
- Now close the lid and cook the biryani until one whistle and after one whistle, cook for another 2 minutes on low flame.
- After pressure releases completely, remove the lid and check your Soya Chunks Biryani.
- Now your amazing Soya Chunks Biryani is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
