Materials
- Sugar – 2 cups
- Water – 1 cup
- Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
- Saffron strands
- Saffron yellow colour
- Lime juice – 4-5 drops
- All Purpose flour
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Eno fruit salt – 1 sachet
- Water – 1 tsp
- Oil For Frying
Instructions
- To make the perfect Jalebi, place a wide-depth pan on flame.
- Now add 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of water, 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder, saffron strands, and melt the sugar on medium flame.
- After sugar starts boiling, add saffron yellow colour, mix well, and prepare a one-string consistency syrup.
- Now add 4-5 drops of lemon juice and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame and keep the sugar syrup aside.
- Now, take a wide bowl to add 1 cup of all-purpose flour to it.
- Now add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix well.
- Now, little by little, add water and prepare lumps-free medium consistency batter.
- Now add 1 sachet of Eno fruit salt, 1 tsp of water, and mix well.
- Now, fill the prepared batter into a piping bag, sauce bottle, milk packet, or zip-lock packet.
- Now cut on the edge of the cone.
- Now place a wide pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well(fill only 1/2 of the pan with oil).
- Now, directly make the round Jalebi into hot oil and fry well until golden and crispy on low flame.
- After the Jalebi turns golden & crispy, transfer them into the hot sugar syrup.
- After 30-40 seconds, take out Jalebi from the sugar syrup.16 – Now, follow the same steps and fry the batch of Jalebi.
- Now your Perfect Crispy and Juicy Jalebi is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
