Eggless Chocolate Cake Recipe | How to make Eggless Chocolate Cake at Home
Materials
- Oil – 1/3 cup
- Curd – 1/3 cup
- Powdered Sugar – 3/4 cup
- All purpose flour – 1 cup
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Cocoa Powder – 1/4 cup
- Baking Powder – 1 tsp
- Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp
- Milk 1.5 Cup
- Powdered Sugar- 1/2 cup
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Cocoa Powder – 5 tbsp
Instructions
- First, take a cake tin, grease it with oil, and place butter paper into it.
- Now, place a heavy-based pan/Kadhai on flame, and put a stand into it.
- Now, close the lid and preheat for 10-12 minutes on medium flame.
- Now, take a bowl, add 1/3 cup of oil, 1/3 cups of curd, 3/4 cup of powdered sugar, and whisk everything well.
- Now place a strainer on the bowl, add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 pinch salt, 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of baking soda.
- Now, sieve everything into the bowl and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add 1/2 cup of milk, mix well, and prepare a ribbon consistency batter.
- Now transfer the cake batter into the cake tin and tap to remove the bubbles.
- Now, place the cake tin into the kadhai and close the lid.
- Now bake on low to medium flame for 5 minutes, and after 5 minutes, bake on low flame for 30-40 minutes.
- While baking the cake, take a pan and add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
- Now add 1 tbsp of cornflour, 5 tbsp of cocoa powder, and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add 1 cup of milk and mix well.
- Now, place the pan on flame and cook until its consistency becomes thick.
- After some seconds, add 1 tbsp of butter and mix well.
- After the chocolate mix turns thick, turn off the flame and let it cool.
- After 30-35 minutes, check your cake by inserting a toothpick into the cake; if the toothpick came out clean, this means your cake is baked perfectly.
- Now turn off the flame, transfer the cake tin to a plate, cover the cake with cloth and let it cool.
- After the cake has cooled down, de molds the cake and transfer it to a plate.
- Now garnish the cake with the prepared chocolate ganache.
- Now, keep the cake in the fridge for half an hour.
