Palak Besan Cheela Recipe | How to make Spinach Chila | High Protein Breakfast Recipe
Materials
- Palak/Spinach – 200 grams
- Finely chopped coriander
- Finely chopped onion – 1
- Roughly chopped tomatoes – 2
- Ginger garlic green chilli paste – 2 tsp
- Carom seeds – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Gram flour – 3/4 cup
- Water as required
- Cooking oil
- Cheese Slice(Optional)
For Instant Curd Chutney
- Mint leaves – 1/4 cup
- Coriander – 1/4 cup
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Black salt – 1/2 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Curd – 1 cup
Instructions
- To make perfect Palak Besan cheela, first take a bowl and add 200 grams of finely chopped spinach.
- Now add finely chopped coriander, one finely chopped onion, two roughly chopped tomatoes.
- Now add 2 tsp of ginger garlic green chilli paste, 1 tsp of carom seeds, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, salt as per taste.
- Now, little by little, add 3/4 cup of gram flour and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add water as required and prepare a thick batter.
- Now place a tawa on flame, grease it with oil, and heat well.
- Now add one full spoon batter and spread well to medium thickness.
- Now add some drops of oil and let it cook on one side on medium flame.
- After 1-1.5 minutes, flip it and cook on both sides until it turns golden.
- After your Palak Besan turns golden, transfer it to a plate and prepare the next cheela.
- If you want to make your Palak cheela with a cheese slice, add one full spoon of cheela batter to the tawa.
- Now, place a cheese slice on the cheela batter and cover the cheese slice by adding more cheela batter.
- Now cook the cheela by following the same steps.
- Now your Both types of Palak Besan cheela are ready, and you can enjoy them.
Instant Curd Chutney
- To make Instant Curd chutney, take a grinding jar and add 1/4 cup of mint leaves, 1/4 cup of coriander, 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of black salt, 1 tsp of roasted cumin powder.
- Now add one inch chopped ginger, two chopped green chillies, grind well and make a coarse paste.
- Now, add 1 cup of curd into the grinding jar and blend for some seconds.
- Now your Instant Curd chutney is ready, and you can enjoy it with your Palak Besan Cheela.
