Karupatti Mysore Pak Recipe | Gud Mysore Pak Recipe | Mysore Pak Recipe with Jaggery
Materials
- Gram flour – 1 cup
- Clarified Butter – 1 cup
- Water – 1/4 cup
- Jaggery – 1 cup
Instructions
- To make Perfect Jaggery Mysore Pak/Karupatti Mysore Pak, first take a pan.
- Now, place a strainer on the pan, add 1 cup of gram flour, and sieve it well into the pan.
- Now, keep the pan on flame and dry roast until aromatic and stir continuously for 3-4 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame and stir continuously because the pan is hot.
- Now, take out the pan on a platform, and little by little, add 1/2 cup of ghee and mix well.
- Now place a kadhai on flame and add 1/4 cup of water and 1 cup of greater jaggery.
- Now melt the jaggery well on medium until syrup turns little sticky or half string consistency.
- While making jaggery syrup, take a tray and grease it with ghee.
- Now, place butter paper into the tray and grease it too with ghee.
- After sugar melts, check the syrup with your fingers, and if the syrup is half string consistency, turn off the flame.
- Now add prepared Gram flour mix into the pan and mix well.
- Now, turn on the flame and cook the mix on low flame and stir continuously.
- Now add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix well.
- After the mix absorbs the ghee, add the 1 tbsp of ghee again and mix well.
- After the mix absorbs the second tbsp of ghee, add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix well (you have to do this step until your mixture starts leaving the pan).
- After 4-5 minutes, turn off the flame when the mix starts leaving the pan.
- Now, to check that mix is cooked perfectly, take a small portion of dough and prepare a ball; if the ball does not stick in your hands, this means the mixture is cooked perfectly.
- Now transfer the mix to the tray, spread well, and let it set for 15-20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, take out Mysore Pak to a platform and cut it into pieces.
- Now your perfect Mysore Pak is ready, and you can enjoy it.
