Materials
- Leftover Rice – 2 cups(200gms)
- Water – 2 tbsp
- Rice Flour – 200 gms
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Asafoetida – 2 pinch
- Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
- Curry Leaves
- Slit Green Chillies – 3
- Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Flakes
- Finely Chopped Coriander
Instructions
- To make this amazing snack, 2 cups of cooked leftover rice.
- Now, take a grinding jar, add rice, 2 tbsp of water, grind well, and transfer the mix to a bowl.
- Now, little by little, add 2 cups of rice flour, 1 tsp of salt, mix well, and prepare a semi-hard dough.
- Now grease your hands and prepare small crack free balls with the dough.
- Now, place a kadhai on flame, add 2.5 cups of water, and boil well on medium flame.
- After the water is hot, add rice pops into the water.
- Now, close the lid and boil on high flame until they start floating.
- After 5-6 minutes, check the rice balls and turn off the flame.
- Now transfer all rice balls to a plate and let them cool.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add 2 tsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 2 pinches of asafoetida, 1 tsp of mustard seeds, curry leaves, 3 slits of green chilli and mix well.
- Now, add all rice balls into the pan and mix well.
- After 1 minute, turn off the flame, add 1 tsp of lemon juice, and toss.
- Now sprinkle red chilli flakes and finely chopped coriander.
- Now, if you want to serve it in creative water, take a rice ball, place a fried curry, leave & fried green chilli on it, and insert a toothpick.
- Now your rice pops are completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
