Navratri Vrat Peda Recipe | How to make Falahari Peda at Home | Makhana Peda Recipe
Materials
- Makhana/Fox Nut/Lotus Seeds – 80gm / 1 Cup
- Peanut – 1 Cup
- Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Saffron Strands
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Jaggery – 1 cup
Instructions
- To make Vrat special, Makhana Peda first places a pan on flame and add 80 grams of Makhana to it.
- Now, dry roast Makhana until it turns crispy.
- After Makhana turns crispy, turn off the flame and transfer Makhana to a plate and let it cool.
- Now into the pan, add 1 cup of peanuts and dry roast well on low flame.
- After Peanuts is roasted, well transfer it to cloth, rub & remove the peel.
- Now, take a grinding jar, add roasted Makhana to it, grind well, and make a fine powder.
- Now transfer the makhana powder to a plate, add roasted peanuts into the jar, grind well, and make a fine powder.
- Now, transfer the peanuts powder into the Makaha powder plate.
- Now add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder, saffron strands, and mix everything well.
- Now, place a kadhai on low, medium flame, add 1 tbsp of ghee, and melt.
- After ghee melts, add 1 cup of jaggery into the pan and melt well.
- After jaggery is melted well, add prepared mix into the pan, mix well on low flame, and cook.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame and transfer the mix to a bowl and let it cool.
- Now, take a small portion of the mix and prepare a small Peda with it.
- Now coat prepared Peda with desiccated coconut.
- Now, one by one, prepare all Peda with the remaining mix.
- Now, one by one, prepare all Peda with the remaining mix.
- Now your Perfect Vrat Special Makhana Peda is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
