Dahi Aloo Masala Recipe | How to make Dahi Aloo Masala at Home | Dahi Wale aloo Recipe
Materials
- 4 Potatoes
- Salt as per taste
- 1 cup Fresh curd
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 pinches Asafoetida
- 1 tsp Finely chopped ginger
- 3 Green chilli
- 1 Finely chopped onion
- 2 Red chillies
- 1 tsp Kasuri methi
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2 cup Water
- Coriander
Instructions
- To make amazing Dahi Aloo Masala, first take four potatoes.
- Now wash and peel the potato and keep them in water.
- Now, cut all the potatoes into four pieces.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add water to it and boil.
- After the water starts boiling, add potato pieces, salt as per taste into the water.
- Now, close the lid and boil for 3 minutes until the potatoes cooked up to 60%.
- While boiling it, take a bowl, and add 1 cup of fresh curd.
- Now add 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder, and mix everything well.
- After 3 Minutes, check the potato with the help of form, turn off the flame, and transfer the potato to a plate.
- Now, place a pan on flame, add 3 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- Now, into potato pieces, add Kashmiri red chilli powder, salt as per taste, turmeric powder, and gently mix.
- After oil, it hot, add Masala aloo into oil and mix well and fry.
- After the potato turns golden, transfer them to a plate and turn off the flame.
- Now, into the same pan, add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, one bay leaf, two pinch asafoetida, 1 tsp of finely chopped ginger, three slits of green chilli, and mix everything well.
- Now add one finely chopped onion, two red chillies and mix well and fry on medium flame.
- After the onion turns golden, add Dahi mix into the pan, mix well, and cook on medium-high flame until it releases the oil.
- After the mix starts releasing the oil, add all fried potatoes into the pan and mix well.
- Now add 1 tsp of Kasuri methi, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1/2 cup of water, and mix well.
- Now add salt as per taste, mix well, close the lid, and cook for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, remove the lid, turn off the flame, and garnish it with chopped coriander.
- Now your Dahi Aloo Masla is entirely ready, and you can enjoy it.

Dahi Aloo Masala Recipe – Step By Step
