Poha Sangam Barfi Recipe | How to make Poha Sangam Barfi at Home | Poha Barfi Recipe
Materials
- 1 cup Poha/Chidwa/flatten rice
- 1/2 cup Rava
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 cup Boiled Milk
- 6 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Desiccated coconut
- 1/2 tsp Rose Essence
- 2-3 drops Red Food Colour
Instructions
- To make this amazing Poha Sangam barfi, first take 1 cup of Poha/flatten rice, 1/2 cup of fine semolina.
- Now, wash the Poha with water and soak it for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, drain the water and keep the Poha aside.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee to it and melt.
- Now add 1/2 cup of semolina and roast it a little.
- Now add soaked Poha into the pan, mix well, and roast on low, medium flame until aromatic.
- After 2 minutes, add 1 cup of boiled milk and mix well and stir continuously.
- After mixing everything, add 1/2 cup of sugar and mix well.
- Now add 2 tbsp of desiccated coconut and mix well.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of rose essence and mix well and cook until the mix starts leaving the pan.
- After the mixture starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame, transfer 1/4 parts of the dough to a plate, and spread well.
- Now add 2-3 tbsp of red food colour and mix well.
- Now, take a tray and grease it with ghee.
- Now transfer 1/2 mix from pan to tray and spread well and make a layer.
