Materials
- Wheat flour – 2 cups
- Semolina – 3 tbsp
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Clarified Butter – 1/4 cup
- Water – 1/2 cup
Instructions
- To make amazing Crispy Shakarpara first, take a bowl and add 2 cups of wheat flour.
- Now, take a grinding jar and add 3 tbsp of semolina, 1/2 cup of sugar, grind, and make a fine powder.
- Now add sugar semolina powder into wheat flour.
- Now add one pinch of salt, and mix everything well.
- Now add 1/4 cup of melted ghee in batches and mix well.
- After mixing the ghee, close the mix in your fist, if the mix holds shape, this means the mix is perfect, otherwise add a little more ghee and mix well.
- Now, little by little, add water and prepare a semi-thick dough( don’t over knead the dough).
- Now, keep the dough covered and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes check the dough and knead well again.
- Now, divide the dough into two parts.
- Now, take one portion of dough and roll it to a medium thickness.
- Now, cut the rolled dough into a squire.
- Now, cut it into small squire pieces.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add prepared Shakarpara oil, fry well on low flame, and make sure that oil is hot.
- After Shakarpara turns golden and crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your amazing Wheat flour Shakarpara is completely ready and you can enjoy them.
