Materials
- 500 grams Raw Papaya
- 3-4 glass Water
- 450 grams Sugar
- 3 cups Water
- Rose red liquid colour/Powder
- Strawberry essence
- Orange Food colour
- Green food colour
- Khus essence
- Lemon yellow colour
- Pineapple essence
- Vanilla essence
Instructions
- To make the Perfect Tutti frutti at your Home, first take two raw green papayas (500 grams).
- Now peel the skin and cut it in half and remove the seeds.
- Now, cut it into slices and scrape the inner white part.
- Now, cut it into small cubes form.
- Now, place a pan on flame, add 3-4 cups of water, and boil.
- After the water starts boiling, add papaya pieces into the pan, close the lid, and blanch, cook, or half cook until semi-transparent.
- After 5 minutes, check it and turn off the flame.
- Now strain the water and keep papaya pieces aside.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add 2 cups of sugar, 3 cups of water, and melt the sugar on high flame.
- After sugar melts, add papaya pieces into the pan, mix well, and cook until it is nearby one string consistency.
- After syrup turns near one string consistency, turn off the flame.
- Now, if you want to make your tutti frutti with just one flavor, then add that flavor into the pan and mix well, and if you’re going to make your tutti frutti with the different flavors, divide the tutti frutti into multiple parts.
- Now add 3-4 drops of colors and flavor as you want and mix well.
- In the first bowl, I have used 3-4 drops of rose-red liquid color, some drops of strawberry essence.
- In the second bowl, I have used orange food colour and orange essence.
- In the third bowl, I have used green food colour and khus essence.
- In the fourth bowl, I have used lemon colour and pineapple essence.
- In the fifth bowl, I have used just vanilla essence.
- Now cover and soak the all tutti frutti for 12-15 hours.
- After 12-15 hours check the tutti frutti.
- Now, take a plate and place a strainer on it.
- Now transfer tutti frutti on the strainer and spread well. Remove the excess sugar syrup and let it dry for 4-5 hours.
- After 4-5 hours, your market-style tutti frutti is completely ready, and you can store it.
