Tiranga Barfi Recipe | How to make Tiranga Barfi at Home | Independence Special Day Recipe
Materials
- 1/4 cup Ghee
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 2.5 cup Milk Powder
- 1/2 cup Sugar Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- Green Food colour
- Sffron Food colour
Instructions
- To make Tiranga barfi, first place a pan on medium flame and add 1/4 cup of ghee and melt.
- After ghee melts, add 3/4 cup of milk and mix well on low flame.
- Now, little by little, add 2.5 cups of milk powder and mix well.
- After mixing everything, add 1/2 cup of sugar powder and mix well and cook on low flame until the mix leaves the pan.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
- Now, turn off the flame and transfer the mix to a bowl and let it a little cool. Do not let it cool completely.
- Now, divide the mix into three parts.
- Now, in one portion, add two pinches green colour and mix well.
- Now, in the second portion, add two pinch saffron food colours and mix well.
- Now, take a tray and grease it with oil/ghee.
- Now, transfer the green portion into the tray and spread well.
- Now transfer the white portion on the green mix and spread well.
- Now, in the last, add saffron colour and spread well.
- Now, cut into your desired shape.
- Now your Tirangs Barfi is ready, and you can enjoy it.
