Til Papdi Recipe | How to make Til Papdi at Home | Sesame Papad Recipe
Materials
- Sesame Seeds – 1 cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Lemon Juice – 1/4 tsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Chopped Pistachio – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- To make the Perfect crispy & crunchy Til Papdi, first take 1 cup of sesame, 1 cup of sugar.
- Now place pan flame, add 1 cup of sesame to it and roast well on low flame for 2 minutes.
- While roasting the sesame, take a rolling pin and rolling board and grease them with ghee/oil.
- After 2 minutes, transfer the roasted sesame to a plate and let it cool.
- Now into the pan, add 1 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of water, melt the sugar, and prepare a thick syrup.
- After sugar melts, add 1/4 tsp of lemon juice, mix well and cook.
- Now add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder, 1 tbsp of chopped pistachio, and mix well.
- After sugar syrup turns thick and golden, add some drops of syrup into the water and wait for some seconds; if sugar drops turs hard crystal, this means sugar syrup is perfect for making Til Papdi.
- Now, turn off the flame and add roasted sesame into syrup and mix well and do this fast as you can.
- Now, take a small portion of Til Papdi mix and roll it with the help of a roller pin & roller board.
- After rolling it, keep it on butter paper and roll the next Til Papdi(If your Til Papdi Mix turns hard, then again heat it on the flame).
- If your Til paper is not Round, you can give it a rough shape with the help of scissors.
- Now, Your crispy & crunchy Til Papdi is ready, and you can enjoy it.
