Materials
- Semolina/ Rava/ Sooji – 2 cup
- Curd – 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 3/4 cup
- Desiccated Coconut – 1/4 cup
- Ghee – 1/4 cup
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Baking Soda – 1/4 tsp
- White Sesame – 3 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Oil for Frying
- Splitted Green Chilli
Instructions
- To make the perfect Sooji Shakarpara, take a grinding jar, add 2 cups of semolina/sooji, and make a fine powder.
- Take a wide plate, add semolina powder, and 1/2 cup of curd.
- In the grinding jar, add 3/4 cup of sugar, 5 tbsp of desiccated coconut, 1/4 cup of ghee, 1 pinch of salt, and 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
- Now blend everything well and make a fine paste.
- Now add the prepared paste to the sooji and mix well.
- Add 2-3 tbsp of white sesame and 1/2 inch of cardamom powder, mix well, and prepare a soft dough.
- Now keep the dough in the fridge for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, take out the dough from the fridge and make a roll.
- Now give it a triangle shape and cut it into medium-thick pieces.
- Now place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
- After the oil is medium hot, add the prepared pieces and fry well on medium flame.
- After the Shakarpara turns golden and crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your perfect Sooji Shakarpara is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
