Materials
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Mustard Seed – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Chopped Onion – 2
- Chopped Green Chili – 2 to 3
- Chopped Garlic – 1 tbsp
- Chopped Ginger – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
- Chopped Tomato – 5
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Grated tomato – 2
- Curd – 2 tbsp
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Chopped Coriander
- Hot water – 2 cup
- Gram Flour Sev – 1 cup
Instructions
- To make the Most amazing Sev Tamatar Ki Sabji, place a Kadhai on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee & 1 tsp of oil, and heat.
- After the ghee melts, add 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, and saute a little.
- Next step – add two chopped onions and roast on medium flame until soft.
- After the onion turns soft, add 2-3 chopped green chilli, 1 tbsp of chopped garlic, and 1 tbsp of chopped ginger, and saute well on low flame.
- Next step – take a bowl, add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, and 1 tsp of cumin powder.
- Next step – add water as required and mix well.
- Next step – add prepared masala mix into the Kadhai and mix well.
- Next step – add five chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp of salt, and mix everything well.
- Next step – close the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
- After 3-4 minutes, remove the lid, add two grated tomatoes, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Next step – add 2-3 tbsp of water, turn off the flame and stir well.
- When the gravy turns a little cool, add 2 tbsp of curd and mix well.
- Next step – turn on the flame and stir continuously.
- After the gravy releases the oil, add 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1 tsp of Kasuri methi, 1 tsp of sugar, and chopped coriander, and mix well.
- Next step – add 2 cups of warm water, and mix well.
- Next step – close the lid and boil for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, remove the lid, add 1 cup of medium thick gram flour Sev, mix well and cook for 1 minute.
- Next step – add two pieces of tomatoes, and split green chilli.
- After 1 minute, turn off the flame and garnish it with chopped coriander.
