Instant Rava Snacks Recipe | How to make Rava Snack at Home | Sooji Balls Recipe
Materials
- 1/2 cup Gram flour
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1&1/2 tsp Water
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/4 tsp Caraway
- 2 pinch Asafetida
- 2 Chopped chili
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 Finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp Red chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- Finely chopped coriander
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- Oil for deep fry
Instructions
- To make the perfect Rava Snack, take a bowl and add 1/2 cup of gram flour, 1/2 cup of semolina to it.
- Now add 1 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, and mix well.
- Now, little by little, add water(3/2 cup of water) and prepare a smooth batter.
- Now place a pan flame, add 1 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/4 tsp of caraway, two pinches of asafoetida, two chopped green chilli, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, and roast on medium flame.
- Now add prepared gram-flour-semolina batter, mix well and cook on medium flame until it leaves the pan(stir continuously).
- After the mix turns thick, add 1/2 tsp of oil and mix well.
- After the mix leaves the pan, turn off the flame and transfer it to a bowl.
- After the mix becomes a little cool, add one chopped onion, 1 tsp of red chilli flakes, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, finely chopped coriander, 1 tsp of lemon juice.
- Now grease your hands, mix well and prepare a dough.
- Now, one by one, prepare lemon size balls with the dough.
- Now place pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add prepared balls into the oil and fry well until golden & crispy.
- After the Rava balls turn golden and crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your Instant Rava Snack is ready, and you can enjoy it.
