Ram Ladoo Chaat Recipe | How to make Ram Laddo Chaat at Home | Delhi Street Food
Materials
- Radish
- Coriander Leaves
- Radish leaves
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Green chilli – 2 to 3
- Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Aamchoor Powder – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 tsp
- Water – 5 to 6 tbsp
- Namkeen Sev – 1 tsp
- Chopped Green chilli
For Batter
- Green gram/Moong Dal – 1 Cup
- Bengal gram/Chana dal – 1/4 cup
- Bengal gram/Chana dal – 1/4 cup
- Black gram/Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Aamchoor Powder – 1 tsp
Instructions
Chutney Recipe
- To make Delhi’s famous Ram Ladoo chaat, first take fresh radish and separate the leaves.
- Now, take a grinding jar and add a handful of coriander leaves, ten radish leaves, 1 inch of ginger, 2-3 green chilli, 1/2 tsp of black salt, salt as per taste, 1 tsp of dry mango powder.
- Now, take a small bowl and add 1 tsp of asafoetida, powder, 5-6 tbsp of water, and mix well.
- Now add 2 tsp of asafoetida water into grinding jar, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of nylon Sev.
- Now add water as required, grind well and make the chutney.
Radish Kash Recipe
- Now take a radish wash and & peel the skin and grate it with the help of a grater.
- Now, take some leaves of radish and finely chop them.
- Now, take a bowl and add grated radish, chopped radish leaves, finely chopped green chilli, and mix well.
Ram Ladoo Recipe
- Now take 1 cup of moong dal, 1//4 cup of chana dal, 1 tbsp of urad dal.
- Now, soak all Dal into the water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
- After 4-5 hours, remove the excess water.
- Now take a grinding jar, add soaked dal, 1-2 tsp of Asafoetida water(prepared before), grind well, and make a coarse batter.
- Now transfer the Batter to a bowl and whisk well with your hands for 5-6 minutes in one direction.
- Now, take some water in a bowl and add prepared Batter into it; if the Batter starts floating on the water, this means Batter is perfect for making Ram Ladoo otherwise whisk a little more.
- Now add salt as per taste, 1 tbsp of prepared chutney, and mix well.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for frying and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, dip your hands into the water, take a small portion of the Batter and add it to oil.
- Now, fry well on medium flame until golden and crispy.
- After Pakodi turns golden, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
Mirchi Vada Recipe
- To make Mirchi Vada take 4-5 thick Green chilli.
- Now, cut in the middle of all the chilies and fill the spices into them(1/2 tsp of black salt, 1 tsp of dry mango powder, one pinch asafoetida, and mix well).
- Now dip Green chilli into a Batter, then add them into hot oil and fry well.
- After Mirchi Vada turns golden, transfer them to a plate.
- Now your Ram Ladoo chaat is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
