Punjabi Milk Barfi Recipe | How to make Punjabi Milk Barfi | Instant Doda Barfi Recipe
Materials
- Ghee- 1 tbsp
- Mawa- 400 gm
- Jaggery/gud- 200gm
- Water- 1/2 cup
- Cardamom Powder- 1 tsp
Instructions
- To make perfect Doda Barfi, place a pan on flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee, 400 grams of Mawa.
- Now mix Mawa with ghee and roast on low flame until it turns golden.
- While roasting the Mawa take another pan and add 200 grams of jaggery, 1/2 cup of water.
- Now, place the pan on flame and boil, and prepare a one-string consistency syrup.
- After 5-6 minutes, Mawa turns a little golden, add 1 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
- To check that syrup consistency is perfect, take some water in a bowl,
- Now add some drops of syrup in water; if syrup does not mix with the water, syrup consistency is perfect.
- After Mawa turns golden, add prepared syrup into a pan, mix well, and stir consistently.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame.
- Now, take a tray and grease it with ghee.
- Now transfer the Barfi mix to the greased tray and spread well.
- Now garnish it with Chopped almonds, cashew, and pistachio.
- Now, let it set for 2-3 hours.
- After 2-3 hours, cut the barfi into pieces.
- Now your Doda Barfi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
